Warranty& Returns
Warranty Information:
All products sold by Max Direct Computer Trader are second-hand and refurbished, unless otherwise specified. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010. The following warranty periods apply:
- All products come with a 12 months warranty, unless stated otherwise.
- The warranty period starts from the date you received the products.
Warranty Coverage:
Our 12 months warranty covers any hardware defects that may arise during normal usage. This covers all components, including fans, hard drives, keyboards, touchpads, LCD panels, and hinges, unless specifically excluded. However, the warranty does not cover software issues, battery decrease during use, accidental damage, user data, or problems arising from misuse or improper handling.
Making a Warranty Claim:
For products purchased from our website, please email us by using the online contact support form along with your purchase order number. For purchases made on online marketplaces, please follow the respective platform's contact support page.
Warranty Exceptions:
Devices listed as C-Grade, with physical damage, or clearance stock may be offered at a reduced warranty. This will be clearly noted in the product description and on the invoice.
Change of Mind Policy:
You can return items within 14 days of delivered date for a full refund. Return postage for change of mind returns is the responsibility of the customer.
